Kari Koshiol

Kari is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Buffalo in New York, studying autonomy-supportive learning environments. She joins the team as a research intern focused on conducting and analyzing research for various Springtide projects and is excited to learn more about “how Springtide makes its findings accessible to the outside world.” Her wider work intersects with Springtide, as Kari hopes to better understand young people so she can help them grow as learners. After teaching high school English for 18 years, Kari is eager to finish her Ph.D. and move full-time into the world of research.
