Returns of in-print and out-of-print titles in saleable condition (printed books) may be returned within 6 months of original invoice date. The original invoice number, the date of the original invoice, and the discount received are necessary when making the return. Digital product (video presentations, on-demand presentations, audio, digital books) may not be returned.
Product returned outside the 6 months from invoice date, or product returned without invoice information, will not be given credit and will not be returned to the customer. No credit will be granted for items not purchased directly from Springtide Research Institute.
A 10% restocking fee will be assessed for customers whose total product returns exceed 15% of gross purchases in the previous calendar year (evaluated and notified on a quarterly basis).
Please pack return merchandise carefully. Credit will be issued only for products that are received in saleable condition (as defined below). Returned items not in saleable condition will be discarded and will not be credited or shipped back to the customer.
Product returned must be in saleable condition. Credit will not be given for items in non-saleable condition, such as:
- items that have been autographed, stamped, marked, stickered, or have sticker residue
- items with bent, torn, or cut pages
- items with dirty, scuffed, faded, damaged, or scratched pages or covers
- items with damage due to improper packing upon return
Springtide Research Institute is not responsible for damages caused to returned materials in shipment. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges incurred on returned materials. Returns exceeding $25,000 will receive credit to customer account. A refund check will not be issued.
